IBM Presents New Data Security Solutions To Face Quantum Computing Threats
JAKARTA - Along with the emergence of increasingly sophisticated cyber threats, IBM launched the IBM Guardium Data Security Center, to improve data security in the hybrid cloud and AI ecosystems, as well as face threats from quantum computing.
"AI generative and quantum computing offers great opportunities, but also brings new risks," said Akiba Saeedi, Vice President of IBM Security Product Management in a written statement on Friday, October 25.
This SaaS-based solution will allow organizations to monitor, manage, and protect data on various systems on an integrated platform.
The main features in this solution are IBM Guardium AI Security, which is designed to address risks on AI, including "shadow AI," and IBM Guardium Quantum Safe, which offers protection against future quantum computing threats.
"IBM Guardium Data Security Center with AI Security features, Quantum Safe, and other integrated capabilities, provides a comprehensive view of the risks it faces," continued Saeedi.
Guardium AI Security helps organizations secure AI data and models with risk detection and monitoring, as well as compliance with data management regulations.

Meanwhile, Guardium Quantum Safe is also supported by a post-quantum algorithm recognized by NIST, offering a solution to protect encrypted data from potential quantum threats.
IBM Consulting provides Quantum Safe Transformation services, helping organizations identify and handle risks with quantum cryptography.
With this approach, IBM hopes to provide comprehensive protection for sensitive data in various industries, including telecommunications, finance, and governance, amid rapid advances in quantum technology and AI.
