Honorary Teacher In South Konawe Supriyani Charged With Child Violence
KONAWE - The Public Prosecutor (JPU) of the Kendari District Attorney (Kejari) charged Supriyani, an honorary teacher at the State Elementary School (SDN) 4 Baito, South Konawe Regency (Konsel), with layered articles related to violence against minors.
The head of the South Konawe District Attorney's Office, Ujang Sutisna, when met in Konsel on Thursday, October 24, explained that Supriyani was suspected of having committed violence against a student with the initials D at SDN 4 Baito, Wonua Raya Village, Baito District, using the handle of a broom.
"As a result of the violence perpetrated by the defendant, the victim suffered bruises and abrasions on the right and left thighs of the back," said Ujang Sutisna while reading the indictment in Supriyani's inaugural trial.
Ujang stated that his party charged the defendant with Article 80 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 76C of Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection. Supriyani was also charged with Article 351 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code (KUHP).
On this charge, legal advisor Supriyani denied and filed an exception.
"We are submitting an exception," he said.

Meanwhile, the Chief Justice of the Kendari District Court,moto Rosano, gave legal advisors time to submit an exception until Monday, October 28.
