BNN Will Issue Red Notice For Indonesian Citizen Dinda ASEAN Bandar Besar

Head of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) Commissioner General (Komjen) Pol Martinus Hukom revealed that his agency is processing one Indonesian citizen (WNI) to be included in the international red notice list related to drug trafficking networks.

Martinus explained that the Indonesian citizen was named Dewi Astuti alias Dinda, who is still being hunted by BNN because he is a large dealer operating in the Southeast Asia (ASEAN) region.

"He (Dinda) controls all couriers. Because in the end the network in Africa operating in Southeast Asia is controlled by him, so we are in the process of making a red notice to be hunted," Martinus told ANTARA in Jakarta, Thursday.

He further explained that the Indonesian citizen had recruited 11 couriers spread across Indonesia and is still being searched for by officers.

This amount was obtained based on information during the last arrest by BNN related to international networks.

A total of 11 couriers are known to help drug trafficking in a number of large areas or cities in Indonesia.

"So he is alone and there are 11 couriers still roaming outside and it could be more than that," said the three-star general of the National Police.

Even so, Martinus said, the main focus of BNN is working with law enforcement from other countries to find one Indonesian citizen, because one of the brains of all drug trafficking activities in Indonesia and controlled from abroad is through this woman.

Meanwhile, red notices are a request to law enforcement around the world to seek and arrest someone pending extradition, surrender, or similar legal action.
