Latest Poltracking Survey: RK-Suswono 51.6 Percent Electability, Pramono-Rano 36.4 Percent, Dharma-Kun 3.9 Percent
JAKARTA - Poltracking Indonesia released the results of a survey on the electability of the candidate pair for Governor-Deputy Governor of Jakarta. As a result, Ridwan Kamil-Suswono achieved the highest electability with a figure above 50 percent.
More specifically, the electability of RK-Suswono was at 51.6 percent, followed by Pramono Anung-Rano Karno 36.4 percent and Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana 3.9 percent.
"The difference is quite good, but there is still more than one month of regional elections. From data collection, political dynamics is still possible," said Poltracking Executive Director Hanta Yuda in a virtual survey presentation, Thursday, October 24.
Hanta then explained the electability trend of the three candidate pairs since one month ago. In September 2024, RK-Suswono had 47.5 percent electability, 31.5 percent Pramono-Rano, and 5.1 percent Dharma-kun.
Thus, there was an increase in electability trend by 4.1 percent in RK-Suswono and an increase of 4.9 percent in Pramono-Rano. Meanwhile, Dharma-Kun's electability fell 1.2 percent in the past month.
"In terms of electability, there is indeed a potential for regional elections in Jakarta to take place in one round, although the figure is relatively still at 51.6 percent," explained Hanta.

For information, this survey was conducted on October 10-16, 2024, to 2,000 respondents who are Jakarta residents aged over 17 years or married.
The survey was conducted through face-to-face interviews with sampling using the multistage random sampling method. This survey has a margin of error of 2.2 percent with a confidence level of 95 percent.
The results of the Poltracking survey are different from polls by the Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI) with the same survey time. If in the RK-Suswono pair Poltracking survey the most superior, the LSI survey places Pramono-Rano with the highest electability.
In the LSI survey conducted on October 10-17, Pramono-Rano's electability was recorded at 41.6 percent, then Ridwan Kamil-Suswono 37.4 percent, and Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana 6.6 percent.
