The Attorney General's Office Has Arrested 3 Judges Of The Free Sentence Of Ronald Tannur, MPR: Fulfill A Sense Of Justice

JAKARTA - The leadership of the MPR RI appreciates the steps taken by the Attorney General's Office (AGO) to arrest three judges at the Surabaya District Court who gave the acquittal to Gregorius Ronald Tannur in the murder case of his girlfriend Dini Sera. The arrest of this judge relates to alleged bribery.

"I appreciate the right steps taken by the AGO by arresting the lawyer and the three judges who acquitted Ronald Tannur for alleged bribery," said Deputy Chairman of the MPR from the PAN faction, Eddy Soeparno, Thursday, October 24.

Eddy said that from the start he had seen anomalies from the acquittal given to Ronald Tannur. In fact, he said, there was clearly evidence of audio-visual abuse of Dini.

Even at that time, evidence of audio-visual abuse against Dini went viral in the community. So, an appropriate step has been taken by the AGO because it arrested elements suspected of being involved in the perpetrator's release efforts, "explained Eddy.

According to Eddy, the arrest of three Surabaya District Court Judges by the AGO has fulfilled a sense of justice for the community. The Deputy Chairperson of PAN also appealed to judges and lawyers Ronald Tannur who had been named as a suspect to also get the appropriate punishment.

"I am sure that the AGO will carry out its duties well and it is hoped that the judges and those involved can be tried fairly to fulfill the community's sense of justice," said Eddy.

"I am also very confident that the law in our country can provide justice to the victims and their families," added the legislators of the Bogor City and Cianjur electoral districts, West Java.

Previously, it was known that three judges from the Surabaya District Court were suspected of accepting bribes related to Ronald Tannur's acquittal in the murder case, namely Erintuah Damanik (ED), Mangapul (M), and Heru Hanindyo (HH). Meanwhile, one lawyer who was named a suspect was Lisa Rachmat (LR).
