Security Troops Standby Ahead Of The Arrival Of The Minister Of The Red And White Cabinet At Akmil Magelang
A number of joint security forces consisting of TNI and Polri personnel began to be on standby ahead of the arrival of the ministers of the Red and White Cabinet at the Military Academy, Magelang City, Central Java, today.
According to ANTARA's observation at the event location, at 11.05 WIB, security forces were on standby along Jalan Jenderal Gatot Soebroto, either by tactical vehicle or not.
In addition, a number of police officers have been on standby to regulate traffic at the T-junction which brings together Jalan Jenderal Gatot Soebroto, Jalan Army Students, and Jalan Tidar.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Commander of Korem 072/Pamungkas, Brigadier General Zainul Bahar, said that 4,138 TNI, Polri, and other agencies were deployed to secure the activities of the Red and White Cabinet in Akmil, Magelang.
"The task of securing the President's VVIP is a noble mandate. We all realize that this security task is not an easy task, the challenges faced are increasingly complex, but I believe with high togetherness and professionalism, you are able to overcome all these challenges," he said in Magelang.
Meanwhile, ministers and deputy ministers of the Red and White Cabinet will leave for the Military Academy, Magelang, Central Java, Thursday afternoon, to attend special briefings there.
The ministers and deputy ministers departed together by boarding an Indonesian Air Force aircraft from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta.
