BRI Ensures Banking Services In NTB - NTT Continue To Run Normally
JAKARTA - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk ensures that banking services in disaster-affected areas in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) will continue to run normally.
BRI Corporate Secretary Aestika Oryza Gunarto ensures that people in Bima, NTB and NTT can still carry out banking transactions.
"We continue to try to alert our work unit to be able to provide banking services so that economic activity can gradually recover and the public can quickly get through this difficult situation," he said, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, April 6.
He added that normal services also apply to work units in East Flores, Kupang, Adonara Island, Lembata Island and Sabu Island, since Tuesday 6 April, after experiencing operational disruptions after the disaster.
In addition to services at BRI offices, Aestika ensured that the public can still transact normally through e-channel services such as ATMs and CRM, to BRILink agents.
In addition, according to him, BRI e-banking services such as BRImo, mobile banking, internet banking are still available to serve the banking needs of the public.
On this occasion, he said that the BRI Group has distributed disaster response assistance for communities affected by natural disasters in the NTB and East Nusa Tenggara NTT areas.
Aestika explained that this disaster response assistance was provided through the BRI Group work unit and coordinated with BRILIAN employees (BRI employees).
He added that the BRI Group is also moving by setting up Posko in each affected area and distributing thousands of ready-to-eat meals to people affected by natural disasters.
"Especially for the disaster on Adonara Island, we make sure the BRI Group will help the affected communities by sending fast food and medicines," said Aestika.
BRI Group continues to work together and coordinate with various parties to work together in distributing aid to flood disaster victims as an effort to ease the burden and accelerate post-disaster recovery.
