3 Judges And Lawyers Become Suspects In Ronald Tannur's Free Verdict Bribery Case

The Attorney General's Office has named three judges and a lawyer as suspects in the bribery case for Ronald Tannur's acquittal.

The three judges arrested were Erintuah Damanik, Mangapul, and Heru Hanindyo and a lawyer with the initials LR.

"After examining the 4 people, today, October 23, 2024, the Investigating Prosecutor in Jampidsus named three suspects on behalf of ED, HH, M and one lawyer on behalf of LR as suspects because sufficient evidence has been found in the field of corruption, namely bribery and / or gratification," said Director of Investigation at the Attorney General's Office Abdul Qohar, Wednesday, October 23.

The three judges were charged with Article 5 paragraph 2 in conjunction with Article 6 paragraph 2 in conjunction with Article 12 letter c of the Corruption Eradication Law in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Procedure Code.

Meanwhile, the lawyer for the suspect who gave the bribe was charged with Article 5 paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 6 paragraph 1 letter A of the Corruption Eradication Law in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
