Apart From 3 Judges, The Attorney General's Office Arrests Lawyers In Ronald Tannur's Free Verdict Bribery Case
The Attorney General's Office (AGO) has not only arrested three judges at the East Java District Court regarding the alleged bribery of Gregorius Ronald Tannur's acquittal. A lawyer was also arrested.
"That's right (one lawyer was also arrested)," said Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the AGO, Febrie Ardiansyah, to VOI, Wednesday, October 23.
However, it was not conveyed in detail about his identity or role. However, it is suspected that the lawyer was the bribe who facilitated the occurrence of bribery and gratification.
So far, it is only known that the three judges arrested were Erintuah Damanik, Mangapul, and Heru Hanindyo. They were the panel of judges who acquitted Ronald Tannur.
"Yes (the arrest of three judges related to the bribery of Ronald Tannur's verdict)," said Febrie.
