Prabowo To Minister: Remove Unworked Officials, Tell To Stay At Home Only

President Prabowo Subianto gave the authority to all ministers and heads of agencies to remove officials in ministries/agencies who do not work hard for the people.

Prabowo Subianto emphasized this in his direction at the introduction of the inaugural Plenary Cabinet Session of the Red and White Cabinet, Wednesday, October 23.

"Those who do not comply, do not work hard for the nation and state and the people, my brother gives me the authority to remove them immediately, just ask them to stay at home, rather than making it difficult for us," said Prabowo.

The President stressed that he does not want to interfere with the work of ministries, but as the Head of Government he wants to help all blockages and difficulties of government.

"Where there is a bottleneck, where there are difficulties, we will immediately address it. Let's be honest about admitting that our bureaucracy is very well known, very famous for its 'difficult', very famous for its slowness. Even there are talks by our people that our government bureaucracy often makes it difficult, not making people's needs easier. Some even say, if it can be made difficult why it is made easy, "he explained.

He also asked the ministers of the Red and White Cabinet to be bolder, more do not hesitate, to provide the best service to the people.

"Don't hesitate. If you are not satisfied with the officials under you, report it, we will immediately replace it. So many people want to serve. No one here is immune," he said in the introduction delivered for almost 30 minutes.

Prabowo also invited cabinet members to immediately prepare their respective work programs. Prabowo stated that he would at any time continue to call the ministers to coordinate.

"This morning before the cabinet meeting, I coordinated with several ministers, with the Attorney General with the BPKP, and tomorrow we will continue," he said.
