Results Of The General Meeting Of Shareholders, Riza Pahlevi Remains The Main Director Of PT Timah

JAKARTA - Shareholders of PT Timah Tbk (TINS) have again appointed Mochtar Riza Pahlevi Tabrani as the main director of the mining issuer. Mochtar Riza's reappointment was determined at the 2020 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) which was held today.

Timah President Director Mochtar Riza Pahlevi Tabrani said that in fact the term of office for him and Muhammad Rizki as director of human resources had already expired for the first term.

"For the eighth agenda, Mr. Riski and I have finished our first term of office, then the shareholders appointed me and Mr. Rizky to return to office in the second term. Later, in detail, we will convey a press release regarding the results of this GMS," he said in a press conference after the AGM , Tuesday, April 6.

There are a number of agenda for shareholders in the GMS apart from changes in the management of the company, including the ratification of financial reports, the approval of partnership reports, reports on the use of company profits, and approval of public reports.

Then the accountability report for the approval of funds, there is a basic approval process that is adjusted to the 2020 Financial Services Authority Regulation (POJK), then approval of changes in company management.

Although the board of directors did not change, the shareholders agreed to change the nomenclature of the company's management, namely the Director of Finance to the Director of Finance and Risk Management.

Timah Corporate Secretary Muhammad Zulkarnaen said that changing nomenclature is a natural thing to do.

"This is considering the company's challenges in the future and for that we are optimistic that the company will answer the challenges better," said Zulkarnaen.
