LOTTE Future Champions Badminton Challenge, Indonesian Young Talent Badminton Event
JAKARTA - LOTTE Group held a sporting event entitled 'LOTTE Future Champions Badminton Challenge'. This event was held to support the talents of young badminton in Indonesia.
This program is organized by LOTTE Group and Daehong Communications Indonesia as a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program that contributes to the development and welfare of the community or community in Indonesia, which in this case is youth sports. The prizes that are contested are in the form of cash with a total of hundreds of millions of rupiah which are expected to support the education or training of badminton sports for the winners.
"We want to make badminton events that are not only exciting to watch but also support the development of young Indonesian talents," said Lee Chulwong, representative of Daehong Communications Indonesia, in his statement, Wednesday, October 23.
This program itself was attended by 24 participants who are the best young talents selected from 68 children from 25 schools in the Jabodetabek area. These participants themselves will be trained by 2 Indonesian badminton legends, namely Debby Susanto, the winner of the All England mixed doubles gold medal, and Candra Wijaya, the winner of the men's doubles gold medal at the 2000 Olympics.
"It is very excited to train these children and look at their talents. At an easy age, this training is not easy. They must remain enthusiastic and disciplined because their biggest challenge is the process because of badminton training from now on they are small to old adults. Hopefully there will be Indonesian champions from this program," said Debby Susanto.
Chandra Wijaya also added that the participating children could have good enthusiasm and enthusiasm.
"Because this program aims to provide education or training that is not kidding because it invites former athletes like me and Coach Debby. Hopefully they can take positive things and continue to excel in the badminton world in the future," said Chandra.

During the program, they will receive badminton training in various important categories to become badminton athletes such as physical training, technical training, and mental training. Participants also participated in various prize challenges such as Supersmash Challenge, Physical Power Challenge, Technical Triumph Challenge, Mental Mastery Challenge, and LOTTE Box Match Challenge before they finally collided in the badminton tournament to win the LOTTE Future Champion Badminton Challenge in the men's singles category, women's singles, men's doubles, and women's doubles.
They will be divided into two teams called 'Change Today' and 'Create Tomorrow' according to the slogan LOTTE Group itself which means "Change today and create a better tomorrow".
"This dialogue is a form of LOTTE's commitment to always be better in the future to provide more life for all, not only for our consumers but also for Indonesia. Always give back, always improve, and always give your best," continued Lee Chulwong.
LOTTE Future Champions Badminton Challenge will air in episodic format on GTV every Sunday at 14.45 with the premiere episode on Sunday, October 27, 2024.
