Previously, ODGJ patient Sahrullah died while undergoing medical treatment at the Dadi Hospital located on Jalan Lanto Daeng Pasewang, Mamajang District, Makassar City, on Friday last week, due to allegations of negligence by nurses and mistakes in handling.

The death toll suffered snares and fractures in the neck. This is based on the autopsy results of the Bhayangkara Police Hospital in Makassar.

The victim's body has been brought by the family to Bulukumba Regency, South Sulawesi, to be buried.

It is known that the victim was hospitalized at the Dadi Regional Special Hospital on Friday last week. However, while undergoing treatment in one of the rooms after undergoing observation, the victim died with a broken neck with a snare wound to the neck.

Acting Public Relations of Dadi Makassar Regional Special Hospital, Sukirman, said that treatment measures by means of viksation or tying the hands and feet of ODGJ patients, along with the administration of drugs in the form of oral therapy and administration of drugs by taking drugs, as well as injections, were carried out if patients struggled.

"The name ODGJ is suddenly raging or suddenly restless. To maintain the safety of other patients or officers, we have security measures. If the situation is calm because they have been given an injection or taken the drug, it will be released again," he explained.
