DPR Make Sure There Are No New Building Constructions Even Though AKD Increases

JAKARTA - Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, ensured that there would be no construction of a new building or room in the House of Representatives (DPR) after the increase in board equipment (AKD), namely two commissions and one body.

AKD baru akan menggunakan ruangan yang sudah tersedia di DPR, seperti ruang rapat pansus B untuk Komisi XII dan ruang rapat pansus C untuk Komisi XIII.

"We have prepared that since a week ago the meeting room at special committee B and special committee C will be used for Commission XII and Commission XIII. So there are no additional new buildings or budget use to build new buildings," he said at the DPR building, parliament complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday.

Dasco said that each commission and agency in the DPR could work immediately after the members, leaders, and partners were appointed at their respective plenary meetings today. Including, he said, determining meetings with partners, ministries or institutions in the Prabowo Subianto government's Red and White Cabinet.

"Yes, we will determine this first. What is the name of the inauguration of the leadership of each commission and AKD will determine the internal schedule in a meeting with partners," he said.

Dasco specifically asked the Legislation Body (Baleg) of the DPR to ensure that strategic draft laws (RUU) are included in the future priority prolegnas. This is so that the bill is immediately discussed and ratified in the Prabowo-Gibran government.

"I will ask the leaders of the Legislation Body to carry out an inventory that has not been included in the National Legislation Program to be inventoried so that it can enter and have a strategic law to be studied so that it can be processed," concluded Dasco.

In today's plenary meeting, the scope and working partners of Commission XII and Commission XIII of the DPR have been determined. The scope of Commission XII of the DPR consists of ESDM, the environment, and investment.

Partners are the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, and the Ministry of Environment / Environmental Control Agency, Ministry of Investment and Downstream / Investment Coordinating Agency, Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas), Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas), National Energy Council (DEN), Nuclear Energy Supervisory Agency (Bapeten) and Geospatial Information Agency (BIG).

Meanwhile, the scope of Commission XII is reform, regulation and human rights. Working partners are the Ministry of Law, Ministry of Human Rights, Ministry of State Secretariat, Ministry of Immigration and Corrections, Komnas HAM, Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK), National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT), Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP), Secretariat General of DPD, Secretariat General of MPR, and the Presidential Staff Office (KSP).
