Becoming The Youngest Deputy Minister Of Trade, Roro Is Ready To Synergize With All Members Of The Ministry Of Trade

Deputy Minister of Trade (Wamendag) Dyah Roro Esti said he was ready to work and accept all the directions set by the Minister of Trade, Budi Santoso.

"I am ready to carry out all the tasks and duties that have been determined at the Ministry of Trade. I am ready for direction and ready to be ordered. Hopefully this synergy can run well," he said after the Handover of Positions (Sertijab) which took place at the Ministry of Trade, Tuesday, October 22.

Roro hopes that the synergy that has existed today can run well, because basically everyone has the spirit to develop national economic growth.

According to Roro, President Prabowo Subianto has always emphasized the importance of economic growth of 8 percent, supported by a demographic bonus which now involves 68 percent to 70 percent of Indonesia's population who are of productive age.

Roro explained that this is expected to be the foundation for every domestic economic activity, especially related to trade, both domestically and internationally. And ready to continue work that may still be delayed, of course with the direction of the Minister of Trade.

"My many tasks will be carried out for international partnerships which hopefully I am ready to continue, maybe there are things that are pending yesterday, even if there is, I am ready to continue, of course, the direction from the Minister, hopefully, everything will run smoothly," he said.

In addition, Roro said that he was very open to discussing and receiving input. And hopefully the synergy with the legislature will run smoothly in prioritizing the trade sector.

Previously, Deputy Minister of Trade (Wamendag) for the 2019-2024 period Jerry Sambuaga said that the deputy minister of trade who is now younger than himself when he was Deputy Minister of Trade during the Jokowi administration, according to him, the figure of Dyah Roro Esti could be a better replacement than himself.

"I am sure that Mrs. Wamen Esti, Mrs. Wamen Roro will become a better Deputy Minister of Trade than me. I am sure that's why she is still young now. When I was appointed as Vice Minister, she was 34 years old. Well, Mrs. Esti is 31 years old, so this is extraordinary," he said.

According to Jerry, young age is not an obstacle to a career and this is an opportunity for the younger generation to contribute to the country.

"Thank you very much, Mrs. Wamen. This means that this is something that is very proud and honorable that the younger generation is given the opportunity to be a part. In accordance with the direction of the Minister of Trade, there will be many assignments from the Deputy Minister and hopefully it will certainly be carried out properly," he concluded.
