Prabowo Inaugurates Luhut, Dudung To Terawan As Special Advisor

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated special advisors in various fields today, Tuesday, October 22. Among them are former Health Minister Terawan Agus Putranto, former Army Chief of Staff Dudung Abdurahman to Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan.

Based on the Presidential Secretariat's YouTube show, Terawan and Dudung were inaugurated along with a number of other figures who held other positions. This procession started at 10:00 WIB and opened by singing Indonesia Raya.

Then, Nanik Purwanti as Deputy for Apparatus Administration of the Ministry of State Affairs read out Presidential Decree Number 140P/2024 concerning the Appointment of Presidential Special Advisors for the period 2024-2029. After that, Prabowo led the taking of the oath of office.

"I swear that I will be loyal to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and will carry out all laws and regulations as straight as possible for the sake of my service to the nation and state," said Prabowo reading the oath of office followed by Terawan to other officials who were also appointed.

"That in carrying out my duties, I will uphold the ethics of my position, work my best, with a full sense of responsibility."

Terawan was appointed Presidential Special Advisor for National Health. Meanwhile, Dudung was appointed as the Presidential Special Advisor for National Defense, Chairman of the Defense Industry Committee.

Then there is also the name Wiranto who was appointed as Special Advisor to the President for Political and Security Affairs. Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan is the Presidential Special Advisor for Digitalization and Government Technology.

Furthermore, Bambang Permadi Soemantri Brodjonegoro was also appointed as Special Advisor to the President for Economics and National Development. Then, Prabowo also appointed Purnomo Yusgiantoro as Special Advisor to the President for Energy and Muhadjir Effendi as Special Advisor to the President for Hajj.
