Raffi Ahmad And Gus Miftah Become President Prabowo's Special Envoys

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated seven figures as Presidential Special Envoys, at the State Palace, Jakarta, today.

The inauguration was based on Presidential Decree Number 76/M of 2024 concerning the Appointment of the Presidential Special Envoy for the Republic of Indonesia in 2024-2029, which was set in Jakarta 21 October 2024 by President Prabowo Subianto.

The following are seven Presidential Special Advisors appointed by Prabowo:

1. Muhamad Mardiono as the Presidential Special Envoy for Food Security.

2. Setiawan Ichlas as the Presidential Special Envoy for Economics and Banking.

3. Miftah Maulana Habiburrahman (Gus Miftah) as the Presidential Special Envoy for Religious Harmony and Development of Religious Facilities.

4. Raffi Farid Ahmad as the Presidential Special Envoy for the Development of the Young Generation and Art Workers.

5. Ahmad Ridha Sabana as the Presidential Special Envoy for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Creative and Digital Economy.

6. Let Elka Pangestu serve as the Presidential Special Envoy for International Trade and Multilateral Cooperation.

7. Zita Anjani as the Presidential Special Envoy for Tourism.

Previously, the 7th President Joko Widodo set Presidential Regulation Number 137 of 2024 concerning Presidential Special Advisors, Presidential Special Envoys, Special Staff of the President and Special Staff of the Vice President.

The determination of the Presidential Decree was signed by Jokowi on October 18, 2024 when he was still President.

Like a copy of the Presidential Decree which was downloaded on the jdih.setneg.go.id page, Tuesday, the Presidential Decree regulates the existence of the Presidential Special Advisor, the Presidential Special Envoy and the Presidential Special Staff and the Vice President's Special Staff.

Both the Presidential Special Advisor and the Presidential Special Envoy were formed to facilitate the President's duties. Both carry out certain tasks given by the President outside of tasks that have been covered in the organizational structure of ministries and other government agencies.
