Prabowo Inaugurates Raffi Ahmad And Gus Miftah As Presidential Special Envoys

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated artist Raffi Ahmad and preacher Miftah Maulana alias Gus Miftah as special envoys for president at the State Palace, Jakarta today, Tuesday, October 22.

Based on the Presidential Secretariat's YouTube show, Raffi Ahmad and Gus Miftah were inaugurated along with five other people. They include the daughter of PAN General Chair Zulkifli Hasan, Zita Anjani to PPP General Chair Muhammad Mardiono.

The inauguration began at 10.30 WIB and opened by singing Indonesia Raya. Then, Nanik Purwanti as Deputy for Apparatus Administration of the Ministry of State Affairs read out Presidential Decree Number 76M/2024 concerning the Appointment of the Presidential Special Envoy for the period 2024-2029.

After that, Prabowo led the oath of office. Spiritualists accompany them.

"I swear that I will be loyal to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and will carry out all laws and regulations as straight as possible for the sake of my service to the nation and state," said Prabowo reading the oath of office followed by Raffi Ahmad and Gus Miftah together with all the inaugurated officials.

"That in carrying out my duties, I will uphold the ethics of my position, work my best, with a full sense of responsibility."

Raffi occupies the position of Special Envoy for the President for the Development of the Young Generation and Art Workers. Meanwhile, Gus Miftah became the Presidential Special Envoy for Religious Harmony and Development of Religious Facilities.

Next, Zita became the Presidential Special Envoy for Tourism and Mardiono who became the Presidential Special Envoy for Food Security. Also appointed, Setiawan Ichlas, who became the President's Special envoy for Economics and Banking.

Ahmad Ridha Sabana is the Presidential Special Envoy for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Creative and Digital Economy. Finally, let Elka Pangestu become the Presidential Special Envoy for Trade.
