JAKARTA - The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Puan Maharani, said that her party would hold a plenary meeting to determine the number and leadership of the commission and the board's equipment (AKD), Tuesday, October 22 afternoon.
In addition, the DPR will also determine the working partners of the DPR commission following the inauguration of cabinet ministers by President Prabowo Subianto Monday, October 21.
"We have set a plenary meeting to be held on Tuesday. (The schedule) afternoon, God willing," said Puan at the DPR building, parliament complex, Senayan Jakarta, Monday.
Puan said that she and other DPR leaders had finished holding a consultation meeting with eight leaders of the DPR faction today. He admitted that the leadership of the DPR and faction leaders had agreed on the number of commissions, AKD and their leaders and partners for the government.
"Stipulates the number of commissions and AKD first. Then, the number of commission leaders from all existing factions and God willing, after yesterday was announced by President Prabowo's Red and White Cabinet, of course we will complete partners from each commission and AKD," he said.
Puan said the DPR commission was agreed to increase to 13. In general, the working partners of each DPR commission are relatively the same.
Meanwhile, for Commission XII of the DPR, its partners are ministries that take care of energy and mineral resources. Then, commission XIII's partners are ministries that take care of law and human rights.
"Commission XII energy, ESDM, which is legal and human rights, (the other commission) remains," said Puan.

Puan also emphasized that the addition of the DPR commission had no impact on adding space in the DPR. According to him, Commission XIII and Commission XIII will use the space that is already available in the parliament building.
"There are no additional buildings, but rooms have been prepared, the available rooms will be occupied for commissions XII and XIII. So there are no additional buildings," he concluded.
