Agus Andrianto Withdraws From The Deputy Chief Of Police Two Days Before Prabowo's Inauguration

The National Police stated that Agus Andrianto had resigned as a member of the Bhayangkara Corps on October 19 or two days before being inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto as Minister of Immigration and Corrections.

In the National Police organization, Agus Andrianto is known to have served as Deputy Chief of Police with the rank of Commissioner General or Komjen.

"It has been decided to honorably dismiss the National Police, Mr. Agus Andrianto, starting on October 19, 2024, with the pension rights of the National Police," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko in his statement, Monday, October 21.

Agus Andrianto's dismissal was based on Presidential Decree Number 99/Polri/2024. It contained that Agus Andrianto was respectfully dismissed as a high-ranking police officer.

Apart from Agus Andrianto, there is also the name Purwadi Arianto who is included in the Red and White Cabinet as Deputy Minister for State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform.

Purwadi Arianto is known to have the rank of Komjen and serves as Head of the National Police Education and Training Institute (Kalemdiklat).

Purwadi Arianto did not resign as a member of the Bhayangkara Corps. He has entered his retirement period as of October 2, 2024.

"Mr Agus Andrianto and Mr. Purwadi Arianto are both the best sons of the National Police. Thank you for your services and dedication during his time as Bhayangkara Polri. Of course, the National Police also congratulates on carrying out new tasks and mandates for the progress of the nation and state," said Trunoyudo.

Previously, Agus Andrianto stated that he had resigned from his position as Deputy Chief of Police.

"It's (resigning). Retiring at your own request," said Agus.
