Xpeng Says P7 Plus Was Born From The World's Largest 16,000 Ton Giant Print
JAKARTA - The automotive manufacturer from China, Xpeng today, Monday, October 21, announced the launch of the first mass production of the Xpeng P7 Plus electric car. The latest model is produced using advanced technology, including the world's largest 16,000 tonne die-casting engine. This machine plays an important role in creating stronger and stronger car bodies, thus providing a more comfortable driving experience for its users.
With this giant die-casting machine, Xpeng is able to produce a complete car body in one print. This more efficient production process not only increases the quality of the body, but also reduces the weight of the vehicle. The lighter weight will have a positive impact on the performance and energy efficiency of electric cars.

Xpeng P7 Plus itself has attracted enormous consumer interest since its introduction. The high number of bookings shows that consumers are very enthusiastic about Xpeng's latest innovation.
Xpeng in its release in early October said Xpeng P7 Plus was the first car with a next-generation autonomous driving platform and offered range of up to 710 km and peak power of 230 kW (308 hp).

Please note, Tesla is a pioneer in the use of large-scale die casting engines, especially with their Giga Press which is capable of producing very large car body components in single print. Apart from Xpeng, in China itself, there is also Nio who uses die casting technology to produce their car components.
Meanwhile, as the largest in the world, the 16,000 tonne die-casting machine used by Xpeng is a breakthrough in China's automotive industry. This technology allows Xpeng to create a more complex and futuristic body design. In addition, a faster production process can also help reduce consumer waiting times.
The die-casting machine is a tool used to make metal objects by pouring liquid metal into a mold (die). In the context of car production, this machine is used to make car body components such as doors, engine hoods, and roofs. Using very high pressure, the liquid metal will fill the entire printed cavity and form the desired component. This process produces components that have high strength and resistance.
