Ilham HIVI! Calls Indonesian Musicians Unbounded Only For Music Events
JAKARTA - The HIVI music group! has been in the music industry for more than 12 years. They have experienced various types of stage and events with various audience characteristics.
Ilham Aditama (vocals) said that recently the stage for musicians is not limited to music events, but also other events such as sports.
As is known, the presence of musicians at sports events that were previously unusual, is currently meeting many. For example, it can be seen in the Indonesian national team match some time ago which has presented Sal Priadi and Anang Hermansyah. They appear on the sidelines and end of the football match.
Another example can be seen from the many sportsainment events in Indonesia after the pandemic, where Indonesian celebrities are brought together to compete in a special sporting event. In this case, Sheila On 7, JKT48, and Ariel NOAH have also performed.
From the example above, Ilham sees music as part of the entertainment industry, has a wider reach when entering sports events.
The collaboration is seen as not only profitable for the entertainment industry, but also for the sports industry itself.
"I'm sure that in the future we will see more sporting events combined with entertainment. This could be a great potential to attract public interest," said Ilham HIVI! in a written statement, Monday, October 21.
Moreover, in the Indonesia Sport Industry Summit 2024 which was held last week, the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) has introduced the Indonesian Sport Promoter (INASPRO), one of which is to make sporting events more professional and innovative.
Ilham also positively welcomed the government's initiative. He believes that the sports industry in Indonesia can be even better.
"Hopefully in the future the sports industry in Indonesia can progress and develop and the athletes will also be more concerned," he said.

As a musician, Ilham also does not rule out being involved in sports events that collaborate with the entertainment world. According to him, entertainment and sports can complement each other to create unique experiences for their fans.
"Sports and music actually have something in common, both of them can unite people from various circles. I think this collaboration could be something big in the future," he said.
The Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Dito Ariotedjo also conveyed the importance of cross-sectoral collaboration to advance sports in Indonesia. He hopes that sports will not only be part of physical activities only, but also inspire other sectors such as the creative economy industry.
"Sports can be part of the creative economy that has a positive impact not only on athletes, but also on the wider community," said Menpora Dito.
Furthermore, Dito said that the presence of INASPRO wants every talent and idea to have space to grow and develop, even to achieve the best achievements on the world stage.
"The impact clearly has to be positive for athletes, the wider community, and also the creative economy sector. INASPO comes with enthusiasm to connect Indonesia with the global sports world," he concluded.
