Accident On The Paspro Toll Road, East Java, Killed 5 People Due To Drowsiness Drivers

JAKARTA - A total of five people died and seven people suffered minor injuries due to an accident that occurred on the Pasuruan-Probolinggo (Paspro) Toll Road, East Java (Jaktim), Monday, October 21 in the morning.

"This accident started with the Isuzu minibus number M 7419 UA running in the L1 lane (left) from the direction of Probolinggo to Surabaya," said Head of the Highway Patrol Unit of Ditlantas Polda Jatim Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police Imet Chaerudin Tamsil confirmed in Surabaya, Monday, October 21, confiscated by Antara.

"The minibus was damaged in front of the vehicle, the windshield and left right side were broken and the back was crushed," he said.

Meanwhile, the identity of the truck that was hit was not known and walked in the same direction in front of him.

"The position of the minibus vehicle is on the shoulder of the road facing the south," added Imet.

From the accident, Imet received reports that five people died, namely one person who was a minibus driver named Ifan Orlando (23) and four passengers on behalf of Eli, Muslih, Darmono, and Sutrih.

"Seven people who were also in the minibus group suffered minor injuries," said Imet.

The seven injured victims were named by Aril, Satrami, Ahmad, Nadia, Riska, M. Samsul, and M. Makhruf.

"The victims and vehicles have been evacuated by officers in the field," he said.
