Benny Rhamdani's Great Hope To Abdul Kadir Karding, Minister Of Protection For Indonesian Migrant Workers
JAKARTA - Benny Rhamdani hopes that the transformation will continue to be carried out to increase the protection of Indonesian migrant workers (PMI). Especially considering that the Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Agency (BP2MI) has changed its status to a ministry.
The Ministry of Protection for Indonesian Migrant Workers is now Abdul Kadir Karding. He has been inaugurated by President Prabowo Subinto along with a row of other new ministers in the Red and White Cabinet. The inauguration took place at the State Palace, Jakarta, today.
"We have made major changes where Indonesian Migrant Workers are given an atribution and various respect from the state. Such as getting a lounge, Fast Track, and getting a presidential letter. The release of Migrant Workers also underwent a devastating change as foreign exchange heroes and was honorably released, this is proof of high respect for Indonesian migrant workers," said Benny, who serves as Head of BP2MI 2020-2024 quoted from Antara.
Benny hopes that all changes and transformations carried out in his era can be continued by the elected minister of the Red and White Cabinet era led by President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
"Hopefully this will be a new government commitment and a new ministerial commitment. I certainly apologize if there were mistakes and mistakes while leading BP2MI," he said.
Speaking in releasing Indonesia's workforce to South Korea on Sunday he also conveyed his commitment to continue fighting for PMI's rights even though he is no longer the Head of BP2MI. Calling that he has already fallen in love with the work involving PMIs.
