Alami Injury, Asnawi Mangkualam Endangered By Absen Bela Timnas Indonesia Vs Japan

JAKARTA - Unpleasant news came from one of the Indonesian national team players, Asnawi Mangkualam Bahar. The defender reportedly was injured while defending his team, Port FC, which made him threatened with absence from Japan's opponents.

The news of Asnawi's latest condition was revealed by Port FC on Instagram. The Thai club said Asnawi was injured while defending the team against Nakhonratchasima.

In that match, Asnawi actually scored a goal to bring Port FC to a 3-2 win over Nakhonratchasima.

The player's goal was created in the 79th minute when the team appeared at the Nakhon Ratchasima Stadium on Saturday, October 19, 2024, evening WIB.

Unfortunately, after becoming the hero of Port FC's victory, Asnawi even suffered a hamstring injury.

"Update on Asnawi Mangkualam's injury. From the latest game that came down (from the bench) to scoring a winning goal to help Port FC win over Nakhon Ratchasima 3-2," wrote Port FC on Instagram quoted Monday, October 21, 2024.

"He (Asnawi) has a muscle injury, there is a level 1 tear in the hamstring section. It is estimated that it will take 2-4 weeks to recover. It also depends on the player's muscle condition to recover quickly how long it takes," wrote Port FC again.

With the player's situation not too good, Port FC also prays that Asnawi can recover soon. You see, the Thai team also stated that they really need Asnawi's personnel on the field.

Referring to the deadline mentioned by Port FC for Asnawi's recovery period, the player is clearly in danger of being absent from defending the Indonesian national team against Japan.
