Early Childhood Women's Football Talents Continue To Appear

Women's soccer talents at the early age level continue to appear in the holding of the MilkLife Soccer Challenge event which will last throughout 2024.

These potential talents are also increasing in the latest activities of the MilkLife Soccer Challenge-Solo Series 2 2024 at the West City Field which will take place from Wednesday, October 16, 2024, to Sunday, October 20, 2024.

MilkLife Soccer Challenge is a women's soccer tournament for 10-year-old (KU) and KU-12 students initiated by the Djarum Sports Service and MilkLife.

Djarum Foundation's Director of Sports Bakti Program, Yoppy Rosimin, said that in the 13th tournament out of a total of 17 holding the MilkLife Soccer Challenge series, there were a number of interesting and more competitive surprises.

"Moreover, the quantity is directly proportional to the quality so that our efforts to promote football, especially from grassroots, which slowly produce positive results," said Yoppy in a statement.

Players with qualified talents who have emerged are expected to develop into professional footballers in the future, as well as become the backbone of the Indonesian Women's National Team.

Yoppy hopes that the interest of participants in organizing the MilkLife Soccer Challenge in the next four cities will increase. He also wants the students who compete to be able to mobilize all their abilities.

"To the participants and new ones who want to register in the cities of Yogyakarta, Semarang, Jakarta, and surrounding Tangerang, prepare your best skills by practicing a lot," he said.

Persaingan para peserta ini tidak hanya berlangsung di MilkLife Soccer Challenge, tetapi juga akan berlangsung di tingkat yang lebih prestisius lagi, yakni MilkLife Soccer Challenge All-Stars.

Players at the MilkLife level Soccer Challenge All-Stars are a potential talent that is included in the scout team's radar. They were netted for special training under the direction of Timo Scheneumann.

The program adopts a player's promotional-relegation system. The move was an attempt to encourage students to further develop their ability to play football.

"We also encourage students to join the football school (SSB) so that they can participate in the league continuously in KU-14 and KU-16," said Timo, who has had an UEFA A license since 2007.

In the final of the MilkLife Soccer Challenge-Solo Series 2 2024, the two teams that came out as champions were SDN Tempel Surakarta in the KU-12 sector and SDN Kristen Manahan Surakarta in KU-10.

This result made them maintain the title achieved in the previous series. SDN Tempel Surakarta was able to appear to get rid of MIN 9 Sragen, while SD Kristen Manahan Surakarta beat SDN Cemara Dua Surakarta.
