Komeng: Prabowo Really Wants To Unite All Parties
JAKARTA - Member of the DPD RI Alfiansyah Bustami alias Komeng said that the President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto really wanted to unite all parties after the contestation of the 2024 Presidential and Vice Presidential Election ended.
"Pak Prabowo really wanted to unite everything yesterday which was divided because of the presidential election and now wants to unite for the welfare of the people," said Komeng when met after the inauguration of the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2024 '2029 period at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Sunday.
In addition, Komeng also said that one of Prabowo's programs, namely food self-sufficiency, is realistic to be realized considering that the food estate has started running.

Regarding his hopes for Prabowo, the seasoned comedian admitted that he wanted the realization of the National Comedy Day.
"I told you, I asked for Comedy Day during the presidential election. Comedy Day on September 27, the birthday of Bing Slamet," said Komeng.
Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka officially served as President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2024 period after taking an oath of office at the MPR RI Plenary Session at the Nusantara Building, Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Sunday.
"By Allah, I swear that I will fulfill the obligations of the President of the Republic of Indonesia as well as possible and fairly as possible, uphold the Basic Law and carry out all laws and regulations as straight as possible and serve Nusa and the Nation," said Prabowo reading the oath under the holy book Al Quran.
In his inaugural speech after being inaugurated, President Prabowo said that in realizing the great ideals of the Indonesian nation, an atmosphere of togetherness and unity is needed in the midst of Indonesian leaders and people.
"In the midst of such great ideals, which we aspire to, we need an atmosphere of togetherness, we need an atmosphere of unity, we need collaboration, cooperation, not prolonged quarrels," he said.
On the other hand, Prabowo believes that Indonesia can realize food self-sufficiency or independence in meeting food needs for its people no later than the next 45 years.
"I am sure that no later than 4-5 years, we will be self-sufficient in food, even we are ready to become a world food barn," he said.
This belief, added Prabowo, arose after discussing with related experts. Therefore, food self-sufficiency must be realized in order to prevent dependence on food for other countries.
