Puan: PDIP Will Support Prabowo's Government Without Sending Cadres To The Cabinet
JAKARTA - PDIP DPP chairman Puan Maharani said her party would support President Prabowo Subianto's government even without sending cadres to the cabinet. This support was carried out by PDIP in order to jointly build Indonesia in the future.
"We will support Pak Prabowo's government in parliament, but do not place cadres in the cabinet. Although we will also continue to support Pak Prabowo's government, to build Indonesia," said Puan at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Sunday, October 20.
However, Puan emphasized that the PDIP's official stance on the Prabowo-Gibran government would be announced directly by PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri.
"God willing, the position of PDIP in the future will of course be announced by the general chairman," he continued.
Regarding the names of his cadres who canceled their entry to Prabowo's cabinet such as Azwar Anas, Puan considered that supporting the government did not need to fill the ministerial seat.

For more details regarding the PDIP's stance, Puan reiterated that Megawati would officially announce it. What is clear, he said, is that the PDIP's stance in parliament is to support the Prabowo government.
