Puan Agrees With Prabowo, Leaders Must Work For People Not Relatives

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives and Chairman of the PDIP DPP, Puan Maharani, agreed with the inaugural speech of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, who advised leaders at every level of government not to work for their relatives but only for the people. According to Puan, building the nation must work together.

"We must appreciate what was conveyed earlier and support together as an Indonesian nation, building Indonesia must work together as used by Bung Karno. Earlier, President Prabowo also conveyed his enthusiasm," said Puan after the inauguration of the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Sunday, October 20.

Puan also invited all elements of the nation to unite for the better development of Indonesia. Including with rivals during the election contestation.

"Let us unite in building Indonesia. Let us unite in politeness, harmony. What has happened in the match in the election should we unite now," said Puan.

Previously, Prabowo reminded that power belongs to the people. Because according to him, with the permission of his people he can become the 8th President of the Republic of Indonesia.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we must remember that power belongs to the people. Sovereignty is the sovereignty of the people, we are in power with the permission of the people, we carry out power for the benefit of the people," Prabowo said during the inaugural speech of the President of the Republic of Indonesia at the Nusantara Building.

The former Minister of Defense then reminded that every leader at every level of government must always remember that the task he is doing is only for the people.

"No, no, we don't work for ourselves. We don't work for our relatives, we don't work for our leaders, leaders who have to work for the people," said Prabowo.
