Prabowo Oaths To Serve The State In Accordance With The Mandate Of The 1945 Constitution
JAKARTA - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto vowed before God Almighty and all Indonesian people to carry out the government in accordance with the mandate of the 1945 Constitution (UUD) to serve the nation and state.
"I, Prabowo Subianto and brother Gibran Rakabuming Raka have sworn in to defend our Basic Law, to carry out all applicable laws to serve the state and nation," Prabowo said at the MPR RI Plenary Session at the Nusantara Building, Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Sunday.
Prabowo emphasized that the oath will be carried out as well as possible with a full sense of responsibility with all strength and ability in his soul and body.
He also promised to carry out this leadership sincerely and prioritize the interests of all Indonesian people, including those who did not vote for him in the last 2024 General Election (Pemilu) contestation.

"We will carry out the leadership of the government of the Republic of Indonesia, the leadership of the Nation and the State of Indonesia sincerely, by prioritizing the interests of all Indonesian people, including those who did not vote for us," he said.
Prabowo also emphasized that he prioritizes the interests of the Indonesian nation and people above all group interests, as well as his personal interests.
"We will prioritize the interests of the Indonesian nation, the interests of the Indonesian people above all interests, above all groups, especially our personal interests," said Prabowo.
It is known that Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka took the oath of office as President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2024-2029 term of service on the occasion.
A total of 732 members of the MPR RI witnessed the procession of taking the oath of office. The MPR RI Plenary Session was also attended by national figures, leaders of political parties, and representatives of friendly countries.
