Golkar Politician Meutya Hafid: Prabowo-Gibran's Inauguration Is The Beginning Of The Smooth Government In The Future

JAKARTA - Golkar politician Meutya Hafid hopes that the inauguration of the president-vice president at the Nusantara Building, Senayan Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Sunday, can be the starting point for the smooth future government.

He assessed that the preparations for the inauguration of the 2024-2029 presidential-vice presidents, whose series took place since 10:00 WIB, was one of the best and much more beautiful preparations for the previous similar events.

"Hopefully this will become a symbol not only beautiful here, but God willing, the future government will also be neater, more beautiful, faster, and better," said Meutya answering reporters' questions when she was met at the Senayan Parliament Complex, Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Sunday, October 20.

Meutya is the chairman of Commission I of the Indonesian House of Representatives for the 2019-2024 period who is currently included in the government cabinet minister Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

Regarding him who is believed to be Prabowo's ministerial candidate, Meutya asked the public to wait for the official announcement immediately made by Prabowo.

"We are still waiting for directions from the president," he said.

Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka took the oath of office as President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2024-2029 term of service at the MPR RI Plenary Session at the Nusantara Building, parliament complex, Jakarta, Sunday.

A total of 732 members of the MPR RI witnessed the procession of taking the oath of office. The MPR RI Plenary Session was also attended by national figures, leaders of political parties, and representatives of friendly countries.

At least, there are 20 officials at the head of state level and 18 ministerial-level officials are scheduled to attend the inauguration ceremony at the Nusantara Building.

Friendly countries that sent their envoys to attend the inauguration ceremony include Germany, Qatar, Thailand, Malaysia, Australia, Papua New Guinea, Russia, Laos, Vietnam, Vanuatu, Brunei Darussalam, Timor Leste, Serbia, and China.

Other countries, namely Cambodia, New Zealand, Solomon, Philippines, South Korea, Singapore, Egypt, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Britain, the United States, India, Jordania, Japan, Italy, Canada, France, Brazil and Fiji.

During the event, Prabowo's core family witnessed the oath of oath, one of which was the only son of Ragowo Hediprasetyo Djojohadikusumo alias Didiet Hediprasetyo.
