MPR Chairman Ahmad Muzani: Era Prabowo-Gibran Becomes A New Lebaran For The Indonesian Nation
Chairman of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) Ahmad Muzani said that the era of leadership of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka became new sheets for the Indonesian nation.
"Today, the Indonesian people will start a new chapter in the life of government and state," said Ahmad Muzani at the MPR RI Plenary Session at the Nusantara Building, parliament complex, Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Sunday, October 20.
Muzani explained that the new Indonesian nation's release was obtained based on the results of the 2024 General Election (Pemilu), the General Election Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia appointed the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka pair as President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia for the period 2024'2029.
He considered this a sign that the democratic process in Indonesia was going well. This is a gift that all Indonesian people should be grateful for.
"We must celebrate every step we have taken in this process," he said.
Muzani is optimistic that the inauguration of the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia 2024-2029 will be greeted with joy by all Indonesian people from Sabang to Merauke, from Miangas to Rote Island, even all Indonesian citizens in various parts of the world.
For this reason, Muzani appealed to all components of Indonesian society to work hand in hand, maintain the spirit of democracy, spread gratitude to each other, and unite for a better future.

It is known that Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka took the oath of office as President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2024-2029 term on this occasion.
A total of 732 members of the MPR RI witnessed the procession of taking the oath of office. The MPR RI Plenary Session was also attended by national figures, leaders of political parties, and representatives of friendly countries.
