Golkar Has Not Been Able To Confirm How Many Cadres Have Been Appointed As Ministers Of The Prabowo-Gibran Cabinet
JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the Golkar Party Ace Hasan Syadzily has not been able to confirm the number of party cadres who will become ministers in the government of the President and Vice President Elect, Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
"We don't know yet, but of course we can hear the official and certainty later when President-elect Prabowo Subianto makes the announcement," Ace said when met ahead of the inauguration of the president and vice president at the Parliament Building Complex, Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Sunday, October 20.
The statement was in response to the words of the Secretary-General of the Golkar Party Muhammad Sarmuji on Thursday, October 17, who was optimistic that the party would get eight ministerial seats.
Related to this, Ace expressed respect for the trust given if later there were eight Golkar Party cadres who became ministers.
"What has been decided by Pak Prabowo Subianto against Golkar Party cadres who will help him in the cabinet, later of course this is a trust from him and it is entirely his prerogative in thinking about who the cadres are," he said.
On the same occasion, he said that public optimism was very high for Prabowo-Gibran's leadership in the next five years.
"With the various programs that have been offered to the community, one of which is the matter of nutritious food given to the community, I think it is a very strong hope among the people of Indonesia," he said.
