US Presidential Election: Donald Trump Outperforms Kamala Harris In Seven Key States

JAKARTA - Presidential candidate from the United States (US) Republican, Donald Trump, is slightly superior to his Democratic rival Kamala Harris in all seven key states, according to a recent poll analysis conducted by the RealClearPolitics portal.

The key states, or areas of intense competition (battleground), are states that do not consistently vote for candidates from one of the two major parties of the Republic or Democrats and are often the result of the presidential election.

In 2024, the states are Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona, and Nevada.

On average, in all determining states, 48.3 percent of respondents are ready to support Trump, while 47.5 percent will vote for Harris.

In particular, according to the portal, Trump is 1.4 percent ahead of Harris in Arizona and 1.1 percent in Georgia. In North Carolina, the former US president is 1 percent ahead of Harris, in Michigan is 0.9 percent up, in Nevada and Pennsylvania is 0.5 percent up, and in Wisconsin is 0.1 percent up.

The US presidential election will be held on November 5, 2024.

The Democratic Party will be represented by US Vice President Kamala Harris and Republican by former President Donald Trump.
