JAKARTA - President and Vice President Elect Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka will be inaugurated as President and Vice President for the 2024-2029 period on Sunday, October 20, at the MPR/DPR RI Jakarta Building.
After that, Prabowo and Gibran are planned to go to the Presidential Palace to participate in the welcoming procession with the Presidents 2014-2019 and 2019-2024 Joko Widodo (Jokowi). The Provincial Government (Pemprov) of DKI Jakarta engineered traffic in connection with the inauguration of the President and Vice President Elected on Sunday (20/10).
"To support the series of inauguration activities of the President and Vice President Elected for the 2024-2029 period, there will be traffic engineering on several roads starting at 08.00-16.00 WIB," said Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Service (Dishub) Syafrin Liputo when confirmed in Jakarta, Saturday, October 19.
The following is traffic engineering that will be carried out during the series of inaugurations:
1. Traffic from the East (Pasar Senen) to the West (Arah Tomang) can pass through Jalan Gunung Sahari-Jalan Dr. Sutomo-Jalan Gedung Kesenian-Jalan Lapangan Banteng Utara-Jalan Cathedral-Jalan Veteran-Jalan Suryapranoto-Jalan Balikpapan- Jalan Kyai Caringin-Jalan Tomang Raya and so on.
2. Traffic from the West (Tomang) to the East (Pasar Senen) can be via Jalan Tomang Raya-Jalan Kyai Caringin-Jalan Balikpapan-Jalan Suryapranoto-Jalan Ir. Haji Juanda-Jalan Pos and so on.
3. Traffic from North to South can be through Jalan Ir. H. Juanda-Pas Road-Senian Building Road-North Field Road-West Banteng Field Road-Pejambon Street-M Ridwan Rais Street towards Rasuna Said and so on
4. Traffic from North to South can be through Jalan Gunung Sahari-Jalan Kramat Raya-Jalan Salemba-Jalan Proklamasi-Jalan Add-Jalan Prof. Dr. Sahardjo and so on.
5. Traffic from North (Tanah Abang) to East (Pancoran) can go through Jalan KH Mas Mansyur Jalan Prof. Dr. Satrio-Jalan Casablanca Raya-Jalan HR Rasuna Said-Jalan Gatot Subroto and so on
6. Traffic from the West (Slipi) to the East (Pancoran) direction can go through Jalan Slipi I-Jalan Jatibaru Raya-Jalan Fachrudin-Jalan KH Mas Mansyur Jalan Prof. Dr. Satrio-Jalan Casablanca Raya-Jalan HR Rasuna Said-Jalan Gatot Subroto and so on.
7. Traffic from the West (Petamburan) to the East (Pacoran) direction can be through Jalan KS Tubun-Jalan Kebon Jati-Jalan Facrudin-Jalan KH Mas Mansyur Jalan Prof. Dr. Satrio-Jalan Casablanca Raya-Jalan HR Rasuna Said-Jalan Gatot Subroto and so on.
8. Traffic from the East (Manggarai) to the West (Palmerah) can be through Jalan Galunggung-Jalan RM Margono Joyohadikusumo-Jalan Purification I-Jalan Penjompongan Raya and so on.
9. Traffic from the West (Palmerah) to the East (Manggarai) can be through Jalan Army Student-East Palmerah Street-Jalan Penjompongan Raya-Jalan Purification I- Jalan RM Margono Joyohadikusumo-Jalan Galunggung and so on.

When the President and Vice President elected for the 2024-2029 period were inaugurated at the DPR/MPR RI Building and headed to the Merdeka Palace, a gradual opening of traffic flow was carried out on Jalan Jenderal Gatot Subroto starting from the Kuningan Simpang segment to the Petamburan Slipi Intersection.
Syafrin appealed to road users to avoid these roads and be able to adjust the traffic settings set.
In addition, long-distance train users who will go to Gambir Station can adjust their travel time. "Patuhi traffic signs, instructions from officers in the field and prioritizing road safety," said Syafrin.
