Bad Weather Constraints, SpaceX Crew-8 Mission Return From ISS Postponed

JAKARTA - Weather conditions still do not support the return of the SpaceX Crew-8 mission from the International Space Station (ISS). This was revealed directly by the United States Aeronautics and Space Agency (NASA) on Friday, October 18.

"The weather conditions around several landing zones off the Florida coast still do not support NASA's SpaceX Crew-8 mission return from the International Space Station," the statement read, quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, October 19.

"The mission managers continue to monitor this situation and will discuss it on Saturday morning," he added.

"If weather conditions improve, NASA and SpaceX will target a time of 3:05 a.m., Monday, October 21, for the separation process from the space station," the statement said.

Crew-8 mission crew, which includes Roscosmos cosmonaut Alexander Grebenkin and NASA astronaut Matthew Dominick, Michael Baratt, andorith, have been on the ISS since early March.
