Resahkamn Warga, Dua WNA Inggris Diteportasi Dari Sumbar Karena Diduga Menyebarkan Aliran Sesat

JAKARTA - Two foreign nationals (WNA) are suspected of spreading heretical ideas or sects in West Pasaman Regency, West Sumatra (West Sumatra). Strict action was taken immediately, the Indonesian Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) immediately deported the British foreigner.

"Because these foreigners are troubling the community in West Pasaman, we will deport or force repatriation even though their residence permit is still valid," said the Daily Executive (Plh) Head of the Immigration Information and Technology Section of the Agam Class II Immigration Office Heru Permana Putra in Agam Regency, Saturday, October 19.

He said the deportation was the aftermath of the chaos or polemic of alleged spread of heretical sects carried out by foreigners from England and Norway in Jorong (dusun) Cubadak Village, Nagari (village) Lingkuang Aua Timur, Pasaman District, West Pasaman Regency.

The case began with a public report against a group of people suspected of spreading teachings that were contrary to Islam. After visiting the scene, including coordinating with the West Pasaman Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI), the Agam Class II Immigration Office brought the two foreigners along with one wife and four children.

Two of them were immediately screened while the other five were not because four were children, and one woman was the wife of a foreigner who was detained.

"They (wife and child) only accompany their husband, so we don't have to pay attention," he explained, quoted from ANTARA.

Before deporting the foreigner, the Indonesian Ministry of Law and Human Rights first coordinated with the British Embassy in Indonesia. Especially for the wife and four children, no deportation was carried out because they took the initiative to go home without having to be deported.

Separately, the MUI Fatwa Commission of West Sumatra Province Muhammad Hidayat strongly condemned the alleged heretical sect as well as the planned practice of making fake Imam Mahdi in West Pasaman Regency. "MUI strongly condemns this alleged deviant sect," he said.
