Coming Home From Work, Husband Finds Wife And Child Died Inside The House

Depok Metro Police are still investigating the discovery of the body of a mother with the initials EO (25) and her son with the initials AS (2 months) in Pondok Petirak Village, Bojongsari District, Depok City, West Java, on Thursday night, October 17, 2024.

"Until now, from Puslabfor, the medical authorities are also still conducting an autopsy and also checking at the TKP," said Depok Metro Police Chief Kombes Police Arya Perdana when confirmed in Jakarta, Friday, October 18.

Arya said that the two bodies were found on Thursday night, October 17, at 19.00 WIB at Ibu Diah's Contract on Jalan Awareness 1 Number 101 RT 03/05 Pondok Lightning Village, Bojongsari District, Depok City.

"The two victims, who are mothers and children, were first found by the victim's husband lying on the floor of the rented room," he said.

Arya explained that the victim's husband when he came home from work saw that the rented door he lived in was open and found his wife and child lying in the room dead.

Then the witness shouted for help from another rented neighbor.

"According to testimony from the witness, the last time he communicated with his wife was at 09.00 WIB," he said.

According to Arya, there were bruises on the face and parts of the hands on the baby. Meanwhile, from the mother who died, there were also wounds on the mouth and several bruises on her body.

Then regarding her husband's status, Arya explained, she is still a witness because she was the first to find him.

"The victim was still videocalled last night with her parents in Palembang and her husband if based on the confession that he did work at night, from the Central Jakarta area, we have confirmed that from his office," he said.

Arya added that his party was still investigating what really happened.

"Has he really died of drugs or because of a criminal act," he said.
