JAKARTA - Spokesperson for the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Endra S. Atmawidjaja reported that the PUPR Ministry received a budget allocation of around Rp. 1,300 trillion over the past 10 years.

"In the ten years that we can report that the Ministry of PUPR has mandated a very large budget by the government, almost Rp. 1,300 trillion," said Endra in the Media Gathering Achievement agenda of 10 Years of PUPR Infrastructure Development at the PUPR Ministry office, Jakarta, Friday, October 18.

The budget has been used for infrastructure development throughout the country, starting from the construction of toll roads, bridges to dams.

"And our obligation, as conveyed by the Minister (Basuki Hadimuljono) is not to publish, but to report funds that are collected hard through taxes, what are used for. This is for infrastructure development," he said.

Not only that, Endra also reported that the number of official Instagram followers of the Ministry of PUPR from only 75,000 in 2015 has now increased to around 2.8 million in 2024.
