Duri Kosambi Residents Annoyed That Their Children Were Shown Porn Videos By Mobile Toy Sellers

JAKARTA - A toy trader was reprimanded by a number of residents for allegedly harassing children in residential areas of the Duri Kosambi area, Cengkareng, West Jakarta.

"So he is a toy man who goes around often through my house. The mode is, if there are children who buy toys, they are given pornographic films," said the resident, Friday, October 18.

The actions of the perpetrators were only discovered by residents after the children who were victims of abuse complained to their parents. The child complained that if he bought a toy at the perpetrator, whose identity was not yet known, he was often given an indecent film.

"It happened at Kosambi Market. Many residents are already suspicious because every child buys it, always gives a cellphone (sured to watch) with this brother," he said.

A number of residents finally came to the place where the perpetrators were selling and reprimanded him. The incident was also recorded by an amateur camera by residents.

"Don't be like that, there are many children who complain. Instead of the RT who come, they will be reported. That's called child abuse, sir," said a woman who was furious at the perpetrator's actions.

Residents said that the perpetrators often sell toys around with their thrust carts. Residents are worried that their children will become victims of the next abuse.

"Don't say that Apip can't complain, the others can complain. Instead of being viralized. That's harassment. Don't be like that, sir, you're old and you don't teach it right. What about it," he said.

"The children complained, sir, there were many witnesses, gave videos, photos like that were not good for the children," said a woman who strongly reprimanded the perpetrator.

The middle-aged man was expelled by residents so as not to return to selling in the area. Residents ask the perpetrators not to return if they do not want to be policed.
