Prabowo-Gibran Inauguration, Car Free Day Abolished To Traffic Flow Diversion
JAKARTA - The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya has eliminated the free day of motorized vehicles (HBKB) or car free day (CFD) around Jalan Sudirman to Thamrin during the inauguration of the elected president Prabowo Subianto and elected vice president Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Sunday, October 20.
"Because there are big activities in our country, CFD is eliminated," said Director of Traffic and Traffic of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Latif Usman Friday, October 18.
Latif added that his party will prioritize motorists who want to cross Jalan Sudirman-Thamrin, namely the presidential and vice presidential convoy vehicles to VVIP guests.
"Many guests of the head of state will attend, so we will respect the guest. We will prioritize the journey of VVIP guests to pass Sudirman-Thamrin Street," he said.
He appealed to the public to find other alternative routes during the inauguration of the president and vice president later.
"People are welcome to choose another path if they have no interest in the Sudirman-Thamrin route," he said.
