Geger, Sukabumi Residents Find The Body Of A Woman Crushed By A Motorbike In A Trench

SUKABUMI - Residents of Bojongkawung Village, Nagrak, Sukabumi Regency, West Java found the body of a woman with a motorbike piled up in a ditch with a depth of approximately three meters, last Thursday.

"The discovery of the woman's body after a resident was passing by kissing a pungent smell and after looking down or a ditch it turned out that there was a woman's body in a rotting condition overlapping a motorcycle," said the Head of Girijaya Village, Ujang Sihab, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, October 18.

According to Ujang, the body was found at around 16.30 WIB by residents whose house was not far from the location of the discovery. At first, when passing by, he smelled a pungent smell and then when he visited the vicinity of the river, a small corpse was seen covered by a motorcycle.

With information on the discovery of the corpse, residents immediately filled the location of the discovery. Not long after, Nagrak Police personnel arrived at the location and immediately evacuated the woman's body.

After being identified, it turned out that the body was a young 24-year-old woman known as Neng Laras, a resident of Cireundeu Village, RT 01/06, Girijaya Village, Nagrak District.

The victim, who is an employee at one of the garment factories, was declared missing since Sunday after saying goodbye on a motorbike for a walk. However, regarding the time of departure from home and with whom it is not known.

"The victim's family has also reported this incident to the village government, police station, and searched the Cibadak sub-district, Cisaat and even Sukabumi City," he added.

Ujang said that the cause of death was not yet known because it was still being handled by the police from the Nagrak Police, but information circulating that this young woman died in a single accident, allegedly a blue Honda Beat motorcycle driven by the victim fell into a three-meter-deep ditch and the victim's head was hit by a rock, causing severe injuries.

However, the family considers Neng Laras' death purely due to a traffic accident or accident and rejects the request of the Nagrak Police to carry out an autopsy. The victim's body has been taken to the funeral home and is planned to be buried not far from where he lives.
