Acting Governor Of Jakarta Teguh Setyabudi In Lieu Of Heru Budi Has Assets Of Rp9.23 Billion

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) appointed Teguh Setyabudi who served as Director General of Dukcapil of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) as Acting Governor of Jakarta. He replaced Heru Budi Hartono.

The replacement was carried out based on Presidential Decree (Keppres) Number 125P concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of the Governor of DKI Jakarta. Then how much is Teguh Setyabudi's wealth?

Based on the state administrator's wealth report (LHKPN) submitted, Teguh has assets of Rp. 9,233,599,204. He did not record debt ownership so that the figure did not decrease.

The amount consists of ownership of land and buildings worth Rp. 7,850,000,000. The distribution is in the cities of Central Jakarta, Bogor, and Depok City.

Later, he recorded ownership of transportation equipment such as the 2008 Toyota Corolla Altis which was estimated to be worth IDR 50 million; 1974 Land Rover Jeep worth IDR 35 million; 1962 Toyota Jeep worth IDR 65 million; and Honda Civic 2012 which is estimated at IDR 70 million.

Teguh did not record ownership of securities and other assets. However, he has other movable assets worth IDR 250 million and cash and cash equivalents of IDR 913,559,204.

As previously reported, the Acting Head of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Aang Witarsa Rofik, said that the inauguration of the Acting Governor of DKI was only held on Friday, October 18 at 09.00 WIB.

Meanwhile, to fill the void because Heru Budi Hartono finished his tenure on Wednesday, October 16, the Ministry of Home Affairs appointed the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of DKI Jakarta Joko Agus Setyono to be the daily executor of the Governor of DKI. This is in accordance with the provisions of article 131 paragraph (4) PP No 49 of 2008.

"It was emphasized that in the event that the positions of regional heads and deputy regional heads occurred (emptyness) as referred to in paragraph (3), the Regional Secretary carried out the daily duties of regional heads until the President appointed the acting regional head," said Acting Head of the Ministry of Home Affairs Aang Witarsa Rofik to reporters.
