Denying News Of Law Enforcement Children, Police Call Fadly Angriawan A Heavy User Of Methamphetamine

The police confirmed that the weapon used by Fadly Angriawan was an airsoft gun purchased at an online shop. The weapon was used by Fadly to threaten Public Infrastructure and Facilities (PPSU) officers on Jalan Limosa, West Pejaten, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, Tuesday, October 15, 2024.

When confirmed about Fadly's family from law enforcement, Pasar Minggu Police Chief, Kompol Anggiat Sinambela denied this.

"Not (TNI or Police). Ordinary civilians," said Anggiat when confirmed, Friday, October 18, 2024.

However, regarding Fadly's involvement in drugs, Anggiat did not deny it. He said the perpetrator was positive for using methamphetamine based on a urine test.

"Yes, it's positive. Positive, he's a user drug. Just a urine check. What is clear is that his methamphetamine. Yes, his name is already a heavy user, that's how it is, get out," he said.

Fadly Angrawan was named a suspect under the emergency and threatening laws in accordance with Article 335 of the Criminal Code with a threat of 5 years in prison.
