Mercedes Supply 60 Cars Support Prabowo-Gibran Inauguration
JAKARTA - The Mercedes automotive manufacturer handed over 60 units of the Mercedes Benz S-Class, as official vehicles used at the inauguration of the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia for the period 2024-2029.
The news was conveyed through an official statement from the Ministry of State Secretariat (Kemensetneg) which was posted via Instagram @kemensetneg_ri, Thursday, October 17.
"A total of 60 Mercedes Benz S-Class units will be used as official vehicles for the head of state, head of government, and state guests at the inauguration of the President of the Republic of Indonesia and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia 2024-2029," read a caption of the photo confirmed to the Minister of State Secretary Pratikno as reported by ANTARA.
In addition to accommodation needs on the day of inauguration, the vehicle will also be used during the state event which will take place from 19 to 21 October 2024.

The 60-unit car handover ceremony took place in the courtyard of the Kemensetneg Main Building, Jakarta.
The handover of the vehicle involved the Secretary of the Ministry of State Secretariat, Setya Utama, and the Chief Executive Officer of PT Inchcape Indomobil Distribution Indonesia, Roelof Lamberts.
