14 Tactical Vehicles On Alert At The MPR/DPR Building Ahead Of The Prabowo-Gibran Inauguration
A total of 14 tactical vehicles are on standby at the courtyard of the MPR/DPR building ahead of Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka as President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2024'2029 period.
The tactical vehicles consist of 10 units of Anoa 6x6 Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) and 4 units of Indonesian Light Strike Vehicle (ILSV).
Head of the Indonesian Armed Forces Information Center (Kapuspen) Maj. Gen. Hariyanto said his party deployed troops from three dimensions, namely the Indonesian Army, Navy, and Air Force, to secure the Prabowo-Gibran inauguration ceremony to become President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia on Sunday (20/10).
Kapuspen explained that each TNI unit was deployed to carry out special tasks.
"Each unit will have special roles such as supervision, patrols, and security of VVIP/VIP to maintain security during the inauguration," said Major General Hariyanto.
Major General TNI Hariyanto also emphasized that the TNI is working with the National Police in a series of security measures. The TNI has also prepared a complete security plan in accordance with the needs of event security.
"The plan includes securing the area around the inauguration site as well as regulating traffic flow and public access," said Kapuspen.

In the same planning, the TNI is also preparing preventive measures against various types of threats and disturbances, including strict supervision in potentially vulnerable areas.
