Vice President Ma'ruf No Longer Occupies Official Houses Ahead Of Retirement

JAKARTA - Vice President (Vice President) Ma'ruf Amin is no longer occupying his official residence located on Jalan Diponegoro Number 2, Central Jakarta before retirement.

"I have, I have moved houses," said the Vice President giving a press statement after the friendship between the Vice President and Mrs. Wury Ma'ruf Amin with the big family of the Setwapres at the Vice Presidential Palace, Jakarta, reported by ANTARA, Thursday, October 17.

The Vice President said that he had the intention to leave the official residence before October 20, 2024.

"I have the intention that before the 20th (October) I will have to move house so that later I don't rush, so that when the 20th (October) is not like people will move in a hurry so I have prepared it. Today, I am no longer at the official residence," said the Vice President.

Ma'ruf revealed that his house is located in Cimanggis, Depok City, West Java. The vice president has also transferred items from official houses to his home in Cimanggis, such as plants and books.

"The return to Cimanggis, has been in installments for a long time, now it's full. The plants are all there, all the plants there have been (moved) a week ago," said the Vice President.

He said that every time he traveled by service, both from within and outside the country, he always brought special plants from the area.

"I plant when I go home to Indonesia, I bring plants, which are typical here. Even from abroad I brought them, from Greece, I brought them from Greece, I also brought them from Japan," said the Vice President.
