Zarnubi-Widia Bursah Ningsih Unggul In The South Sumatra Lahat Pilkada Survey
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Election Study Institute (LKPI) released the results of a survey related to the potential victory of candidate pairs in the 2024 Pilkada contestation in Lahat Regency, South Sumatra.
In the simulation of the top of mind, the Bursah Zarnubi-Widia Ningsih pair's electability rate is superior with an interim vote of 30.4 percent.
"Followed by the Lidyawati-Haryanto pair with support of 22.2 percent, while Paslon Yulius Maulana-Budiarto won 20.1 percent of the votes, and those who still have not made their choice are 27.3 percent," said LKPI Executive Director, Togu Lubis in his statement, Thursday, October 17.
Then, continued Togu, a closed-ended question was also carried out in which respondents were given a choice of answer and ballot card to choose a candidate pair for regent and deputy regent if the election was held today.
The survey results showed that the Bursah Zarnubi-Widia Ningsih pair were chosen at 39.1 percent, followed by the Lidyawati-Haryanto pair who were chosen at 27.3 percent, and the Yulius Maulana-Budiarto pair were chosen at 25.2 percent. Meanwhile, those who did not choose were at 8.4 percent.
In this survey, the level of popularity and acceptability of prospective candidates is also tested. LKPI gave three candidate pairs by asking how well the names of the candidates for regent and deputy regent in the Lahat community, South Sumatra were known and accepted.
As a result, the introduction rate for the Lidyawati-Haryanto pair candidate pair reached 80.1 percent. Meanwhile, the level of acceptance or liking by the Lahat community who know the Lidyawati-Haryanto couple reached 48.2 percent.
Then for the introduction rate of the Zarnubi-Widia Ningsih Bursah pair, it reached 77.2 percent. Meanwhile, the level of acceptance or liking by the Lahat community who know the Bursah Zarnubi -Widia Ningsih pair reached 75.8 percent.
Meanwhile, the introduction rate of the Yulius Maulana-Budiarto pair reached 72.8 percent, then the acceptance or preference level by the Lahat community who knew the Yulius Maulana-Budiarto couple reached 50.1 percent.
Togu said that Lidyawati-Haryanto's high popularity was not comparable to the level of joy and acceptance of the Lahat community. Likewise with the pair Yulius Maulana-Budiarto.
"Unlike the Burzah-Widia Ningsih pair, the level of recognition and level of preference or acceptance of the Lahat community is comparable. There is a correlation between the level of popularity and acceptability of the Candidates for the Regent and Deputy Regent of Lahat to the electability level as well as found in the survey," said Togu.
