Transition Towards A Green Economy, GIS And BTN Collaborate To Build Affordable And Environmentally Friendly Houses
JAKARTA - The collaboration of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) and PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BTN) was stated by the two company leaders, President Director of SIG, Donny Arsal and President Director of BTN, Nixon LP Napitupulu during a working visit and handover of the house keys in West Pasaman, West Sumatra, Friday, October 11, 2024.
GIS President Director, Donny Arsal said that the banking sector has an important role in the development of environmentally friendly houses through capital facilities for property developers, as well as financing facilities (House Ownership Ownership Credit or mortgages) which provide easy access for people to own.
Donny Arsal explained that GIS has a focus on providing innovative building materials that are low in emissions, as well as housing ownership financing facilities. This inter-BUMN collaboration aims to meet the community's needs for quality and affordable housing, as well as meet aspects of security and comfort.

During the working visit, BTN together with SIG and its subsidiary, PT Semen Padang, also handed over the key to the house directly to consumers in Sulthan Residence, West Pasaman Regency, West Sumatra. In addition to the two President Directors of the company, also representatives of the ranks of the Board of Directors of BTN, SIG, PT Semen Padang and PT Narendra Hutama Karya were also present.
In addition to the ceremonial delivery of the house keys to consumers and looking directly at the house built with an interlock brick precession, BTN management was also invited to visit the PT Semen Padang workshop to review the production process for the intercept clock production.
