Indian Doctor Finds Kecoa Living In Usus Patient After Consumption Of Street Food

JAKARTA - There has been a unique incident in India, recently, a doctor managed to remove a 3 cm long live die in the fine intestine of a 23 year old male patient.

Initially, the man came to Fortis Hospital, Vasal Kunj, New Delhi, India. The spokesman for Fortis Hospital in Vasant Kunj said the male patient complained of stomach pain after eating street food.

The man complained of severe stomach pain, difficulty digesting his food and stomach often bloating for three consecutive days before seeking treatment at the hospital.

"During the examination, it was found that the life jacket was lodged in the patient's fine intestines," Senior Consultant for Gastroenterology Dr Shubham Vatsya, quoted from the Times of India website.

Doctors said this procedure took 10 minutes. The team of doctors used advanced endoscopy techniques at the Fortis Hospital in Vasant Kunj.

"Endoxcopy is specifically used to have multiple channels, one for air and water infusions and one for suction. Until finally, the medical team managed to pull the rope," he explained.

He warned that such cases could be life-threatening if not handled on time. Doctors say they act quickly by doing endoscopy.

"Patients may have swallowed their stomach while eating or could have come into his mouth while he was sleeping," he said.

Delayed interventions can cause severe complications, including infection disorders.
